The Rollers are checked
on measuring instrument during the process and records are maintained.
To ensure proper functioning of all the measuring instruments and controllers,
we have in -house Calibration facility.
PROFILE PROJECTOR
The
profile projector is very useful instrument for ensuring geometry of the
roller and various tooling required to make roller. The parameters like
radius and arc length are magnified and measured with the help of templates
and table movement micrometers. It is used for enlarging the image by
5,10 & 25 times for measuring critical parameters of toolings and rollers.
EDDY CURRENT SORTING
MACHINE
Our
manufacturing system is so fine-tuned that there is hardly any need of
any rework or segregation. But in case of any such need we have in-house
Eddy current sorter. It can be used for segregating rollers by defect,
grades, size or hardness. Based on the response of the roller when it
passes through the magnetic field, which depends on the size, chemical
composition and the condition of the roller. It segregate rollers is three
categories. A Cathode Ray Tube displays the response of individual roller
in the magnetic field and by comparing it with master roller it segregate
rollers.
